Mace Motion Alert Alarm - Infrared Motion Detector With Security Alarm
Mace Motion Alert Alarm is a passive infrared
system that detects motion in any selected area. Compact and attractive,
it mounts easily (vertically or horizontally) near any entry area and is
battery operated, eliminating any need for wiring.
This Motion
Alarm can be coded with a personal security code and can be set to
utilize a two-tone entry chime, instead of the alarm sound. Mounting
screws and AC connector included. 9-volt battery not included.
Unique passive
infrared system concentrates on the protected area you select. The
motion detector alarm studies the area and responds with a 105 db alarm
only when a person moves into the protected area. |
In the entry chime
mode, the chime will "ding" each time motion is detected. Motion detector
alarm can provide valuable protection for your home and property. No wiring
required, battery operated, easy installation.

There is a 60 second delay after arming
for sensor warm up and exit delay. When
activated, the alarm cycles twice with
30 or 60 second rest in between. The
duration of the alarm can be programmed
for 30 seconds, 60 seconds, or 90
seconds. Re-entry Delay can be
programmed to prevent alarm from going
off for 15 seconds, 8 seconds, or zero
seconds giving you time to disarm the
unit.
Installation
- Wall mountable with included
screws and screw anchors.
Recommended height is between 3 to
6.5 feet (1 to 2 meters) above floor
for best coverage of protection
area.
- Detection head can be flipped up
for use as a shelf mounted alarm. No
need to permanently mount in place.
Allows you to move unit from one
location to another.
Intrusion Memory Indicator -
Motion detector alarm "remembers" if
someone has set off the alarm. When you
disarm the unit, if the LED flashes 3
times, it indicates that there has been
an intrusion during the last arming
mode. Be sure to check your home/office
thoroughly after entering.
