The Super Scanner is the world's most respected and most utilized hand-held security metal detector. The Super Scanner detects medium-size pistols from a distance of 9"; large pocket knives, up to 6"; razor blades - 3"; hatpins - 1". Just press the ON switch, and the detector will alert you to even the smallest concealed metal weapons, using both an audio signal and a visual alarm. This metal detector features a reduced sensitivity mode for scanning near rebar floors.
